What does Touchlessr do?
Touchlessr allows TouchScreen-based systems (ex: Kiosks, info panels, menu boards, etc) to be remotely controlled by allowing users to enter information with their personal mobile devices.
Do I need to integrate Touchlessr with my existing software?
No, Touchlessr is designed to be compatible with multiple platforms and work alongside them on the same machine.
Will my customers need to install an app?
No, Touchlessr is web based and allows users to connect your mobile phone with the TouchScreen by scanning a QR code. Users can simply point their phone’s camera at the QR code to scan it and then they can start using their phone as a remote control or keyboard for the TouchScreen.
Does it affect any data privacy policies or terms of use of existing systems?
No, is agnostic when it comes to the software running on the device. Furthermore, it does not collect any personal data from the user's mobile phone and it does not require any installation or third party extensions to be added to the user's phones. Maintaining personal privacy is important to Touchlessr.
Does Touchlessr impose any security risks to the devices?
No, Touchlessr does not introduce any risks to the data or software on the devices. It is designed to only process "touch" inputs as remote control commands and only works with phones that are within close proximity to the TouchScreen kiosk.
Are all mobile phones compatible?
Almost all modern mobile phones are compatible. Touchlessr is supported by most smart phones that have access to the web. Our team extensively tests and validates iOS and Android operating systems. It is possible that a small percentage of phones that still use outdated operating systems are not compatible.
What are the requirements to use it?
Touchlessr requires an internet connection on the touchscreen in order to be remotely controlled. The user’s mobile phone should have access to their network carrier or wifi in order to access the web and use Touchlessr.
What are the limitations?
Touchlessr does not support remote controlling for TouchScreen kiosks that run on Android environments at this time. Most other environments, including Windows, Mac and Linux can integrate with our software.
How can you I get Touchlessr on my devices?
We offer installations services within certain regions. Our trained team of experts will install the Touchlessr software on your touchscreen and provide testing.
